“I can’t draw!”

One of the most common things I hear when I first meet a group is ‘I can’t draw’, and most of this lovely group at Varna Primary School last week said the same…and then went on to draw these brilliant portraits!

It’s amazing how many people think they can’t draw, but everyone can draw, you just may not have had as much practice as others. Or you may be put off when you don’t get your drawing exactly as you want it straight away. I have been drawing since I was little and I barely ever get my drawing as I want it first go - I usually always draw the same thing two or three times before I’m happy!
